steve_b_wales
Has anyone used the above NV attachment? I'm toying between this or a N750A scope. The DFA 75 would be easier, as I would have to change the scope rails and mounts on my rifles to use the N750. Any comments good or bad appreciated. Mini Magnum
Avoid it Steve , there not inline with your scope axis and to be honest there a faff on. The N750A is a better option, I have an LRF870 here if you fancy a rangefinder version.

What's putting me off is that I will have to change the scope rails on the three rifles that I want to use the NV750A with, and this will also mean changing the scope rings as well. I wouldn't have much need for the 870 version to be honest, but thanks for the offer.
sako751sg
Have the DFA75 and been spot on up to now. Changed from the 550 Digi as hated taking the scope off the rifle every time and so much handier just fitting the 75 to the end.Once you know how much adjustment is needed just dial in every time you fit and away you go. I thought it was just a case of attaching the NV to the front of the scope, similar to the Cobra Merlin I have now. With the Cobra, I don't need to adjust any scope settings, apart from parallax. When you say 'once I know how much adjustment is needed, and just dial in', what do you mean? Steve.
sako751sg
Steve, the line looking through the scope when the 75 is fitted is raised by i think an inch and a bit if i remember so it needs to be adjusted. If you look at the 75 you will see the objective is a lot higher than where it actually fits onto the scope. It does need a bit of setting up but when done has been spot on with me. rimfire4969
I have been looking at a few bits of NV mostly this Pulsar unit or a Atn X-Sight. Because I don't want a dedicated night vision rifle I want a add on or a day / night scope. What draws me to the Pulsar even though it is more expensive is the price is fairly even across the pond and here in the UK. The X-sight is nearly half the price in the USA compared to the UK price it just screams rip off to me.

The main reason I was looking at getting a N750A was that it can be set with three different zero's. This would suit me with my 243, .22 Hornet and .22 LR. Dougy
Steve, I know someone who had the DFA75 and had some issues keeping zero each time he took it out, he sold it and bought an Archer,. I must say after seeing the N750A its very good but then its a dedicated set up.
