Fiddich
Got about 60 10 bore carts that are 63g 3's in bismuth that I want to sell but nobody seems interested. Would I be better cutting them up and selling the shot or is there not much market for bismuth??
motty
What price have you tried to sell them for?
Fiddich
£2 each! Not a lot considering what's in them
Farma Geddon
Bismuth shoots really well when buffered.
Fiddich
These are buffered. Got the 10 bore up for sale though so carts May aswell go to
Big Mat
Where have you been advertising them? I've not seen them for sale! I'd be interested but its a long way for some cartridges!
fenboy
Got to be over £200 worth of shot alone there so they are a bargain , you may well be better just selling the shot as that would open it up for people with other gauges . £140-£150 would still be cheap , selling just the shot would also mean you could post . Fiddich
They have been up for sale on some Facebook groups. I know there must be just over 3kg of shot there and it's about £70 a kg. I may just empty them and sell the shot. Had an offer for the press and the cartridges together but again it's the postage problem and sending them because of they are explosive. May be a rainy Sunday job cutting open and de priming
Farma Geddon
These are buffered. Got the 10 bore up for sale though so carts May aswell go toIf these are the ones Myers loaded for Eley , they will be mildly buffered , which is a waste of time.Bismuth 3 is really a duck pellet and would be better as a smaller load. I have data for one of Jim Heggeness /Tom Arbrust 1 3/4 loads in the ten if you want it. They used it with BB and reckoned it would kill any goose inside 70 yards. Fiddich
No I loaded these myself. I'm selling the 10 bore and Mec press and all carts. Just not getting the use anymore. Most the geese were I shoot now are only 30-40yards. Can get them with the 12 bore. Just bought myself a yildiz side by side that's 3.5" steel proof and multi choke so does everything I want to do

Fiddich
How much does the yildiz weigh? The gun weighs 8lb I think. Probably kick a bit but no more than the
Farma Geddon
My 425 weighs that and recoil is acceptable. Sounds like a decent weapon. I will shut up now ,for I am taking us offline .
Fiddich
Sorry I worked that out wrong it's 6.6lb so probably kick like a mule

Fiddich
Haha it won't be that bad with a few layers on. No worse than the 10 anyway. The magazine review of them says 8lb but the brochure that came with the gun says 3kg so who knows. Either way I think it will move my shoulder a bit haha

I stand to be corrected but I don't think you are supposed to sell homeloads.
