Scully
Anyone know of a good quality left handed 12 bore for sale? Have found a Miroku 6000 with tight chokes but could do with a more open choked gun or multi. it is for a beginner female shooter. Thanks all. Edit: Should have stated over and under. Salopian
Far too much emphasis is placed upon obtaining L/H guns ! Miroku are very often very straight and will suit many people of differing handedness. A friend who is a very good shot uses a gun that is totally cast wrong for him , but he has adapted to his gun and would now not change. Squinting shot
Try shooting a right handed shotgun left handed at a pattern plate you would be surprised how far out the shot pattern is.

PhilR
I'm left handed and can generally shoot a Miroku without a problem and my Browning A1 skeet gun. A R/H Beretta is a definite no no as they have too much cast, especially at the toe.
EdSolomons
Depends entirely on individual circumstances. Stance and build has a lot to do with it, as Phil says a right hand miroku or indeed Krieghoff I can shoot quite happily off the left side. In face I won my first major with a right handed gun. I bought a Miroku 6000 in 2001 from Malmo. Couldn't hit a barn door with it, crossing or otherwise. Part exed it for a Browning 425 which was much better. They've too much cast for me. See Ed Solomon's post after my original one.
