kody
Has anyone tried the 3inch subsonic 410 ammo how how loud are they and are they slow
rem708
I was somewhat disappointed with the noise. I use fiocchi gfl36 11g No6 and they are much quieter through a moderator. OK the Eley are 18g but I did not think that should account for the significant increase in noise.
motty
Has anyone tried the 3inch subsonic 410 ammo how how loud are they and are they slow 1. Yes. 2.Not very, if fired through a moderated gun. 3. Fairly. I was somewhat disappointed with the noise. I use fiocchi gfl36 11g No6 and they are much quieter through a moderator. OK the Eley are 18g but I did not think that should account for the significant increase in noise. At almost twice the payload, it does make a difference. sitsinhedges
I bought some when I had a .410 hushpower. Disappointing I would buy normal shells for the .410 as they need all the help they can get.
Stonepark
No any realistic difference between eley subsonic and normal magnums in noise levels, just get normal cartridges.
Rimfireboy
Standard eley fourlongs are much quieter through a modded fourten than the eley subsonic 3 inch. I found them to pattern better as well, especially in #7 shot. Edited December 16, 2015 by Rimfireboy
