Schmitty
A question mainly directed at those members based in Norfolk but feel free to answer if based elsewhere. Where do you buy your shooting/hunting clothing from in Norfolk? I have been looking for some new shooting clothing for a while now. Mainly a decent waterproof jacket suitable for shooting, beating and general in the field kind of stuff. A couple of Local shops have a selection but nothing that fits me properly or is a sensible price. I have tried various online suppliers but either the size is wrong or they look nothing like the advertised pictures. The service by the online suppliers has been excellent but I'm cheesed off with paying for delivery/return for something that is no good to me, so now looking your recommendations of where to find a selection of outdoor clothing in the Norfolk/Norwich area that I can tryy on before I buy. Schmitty
Try deerhunter kit comes up on the big side if that's what your having trouble with. Quite the opposite.... I'm normally a medium or large depending on manufacturer but everything seems huge on me. Hence the reason I want to try everything on rather than an internet purchase. Pushandpull
Plus : Trulock and Harris at Framlingham (clothing dept upstairs). Norfolk Country Clothing, King's Lynn. Your nearest branch of Ernest Doe. etc. Or wait until the show season for cheap stuff or specialist clothing such as sold by Tidepool. Schmitty
Thanks form the suggestions. Being basd in Norwich i've been to one or two of them (Gallyons, Churchills) but will certainly take a look at some of the others. As a seperate note .... I noticed a supplier of camo clothing on the top row of Norwich market for anyone that may be interested. I didn't have time to stop and browse so can't comment on brands/quality/prices etc. He also had camo netting suitable for pigeon hides too. Philip Webster is selling clothing now he has that big unit : just a few minutes down the A11 from Norwich. Has Philips range increased recently? I'm off out there soon (maybe this week) to have a look at guns so will find out myself but on my last visit his clothing selection was not too vast or varied.
