Executions in Saudi are a regular part of life,I have worked in the Middle East for many years,Saudi I have found to be a backward country in general, I and workmates have been rounded up and frog marched to an area of waste ground or stadium depending on the high or low profile the poor person is to be killed, (this is not a pleasant experience by anymeans,it could be anything from a mass murderer to a poor Malaysian house maid).mobile phones with cameras are a big no no and cause absolute bedlam if found in your luggage, also any item of jewellery or reading material that shows any other religious tendency other than being a Muslim. The normal day to day worker is nine times out of 10 sadly uneducated and is lead by a person/persons who have had a very western education whether in the UK or the States!.

I have seen both sides of the coin working in the Middle East from being treated like a piece of #$@&, to being flown home in a private jet to be at the side of my wife when she was in labour with my daughter.

I am not a high flying banking or trader, just a normal person who has been sent to these country's as a worker 1st as a carpenter/joiner then a career change as commercial diver.

To be fair, naming names and pointing fingers would be the panicle of stupidity, but then you already knew that.

You doint have to look any further than the UK government and most parties in it to find ( controlled funding was a lesson in bungs, kickbacks and horse trading that we don't have on the Mainland any more.) Not to mention the expenses scandal, to think that doisent go on in mainland UK is rubbish.

.

In September 1995, Labour councillors in Monklands, Lanarkshire, were suspended by Tony Blair after they were criticised in a report for nepotism and overspending. There were claims that a Catholic mafia on the council had been giving jobs to relatives.

London. An investigation found that policies favouring gays and ethnic minorities had helped paedophiles, pimps and drug dealers to victimise children in council care.

Allegations of racism have also led to sackings in councils such as Hackney and Tower Hamlets, which was accused of ethnically biased housing policies.

I engaged in financing infrastructure projects over there. Having to care which colour of religious zealot - orange or green - held which cabinet post and therefore controlled funding was a lesson in bungs, kickbacks and horse trading that we don't have on the Mainland any more.

Well done, Sirs!

well everyone can sleep safe in the knowledge that there is no corruption in England, phew, and before you feel the need to mention it i am fully aware that everyone in Scotland is corrupt :)

Flashman got his fingers burned in the big bad world of contracts involving political interests and now he hates Northern Ireland. Which means its just like Saudi Arabia. But in the utopia of the home counties such nonsense doesn't occur and its the land of milk and honey.😂😂
