hi , after some advise has I arnt to clued up on dogs , what would be considered too old to think of lining my lab up

with a bitch ? he still works well on the marsh and on driven shoots etc, would love to breed of him if only to replace him

when the time comes.?? any help advise would be greatly appreciated Thanks

get all his checks done, too many people breed from good old ben cos he's been such a good dog, but may be carrying problems in his blood lines or genes. Not a dig but how would you feel if the whole litter was born with bad hips and 2 years down the line good old bens off spring can hardly walk ?

hi mate thanks for your reply, should of said, his paperwork has very good scores etc, but would that still count in latter years ?
