Whitebridges Posted April 25, 2007 Report Share Posted April 25, 2007 Picked up 500 plastic wad Saga Eurotrap 28g 8's for £50. I tried them at the weekend and was pleasantly suprised. I found them very good, and hardly left any residue in the barrels. Anyone else tried them? What do you think? The bloke I bought them from has only recently started stocking Saga and said the pigeon load it popular. me and a few mates went to marbella last year on hols to the marbella gun and country club....took our own guns and bought these cartridges... we went through about 4000 in the week and they performed really well... didnt know you get them over here though.... will look out for them. When i missed it was because i hasn't got a clue were to shoot and the ones i hit i kept hitting so i guess they weren't throwing such bad patterns. I've used plenty of them now; I've gone through nearly 500 in two weekends and I have to say that, I'm very impressed with them. They're very fast, quite smooth and seem to hold their patten well enough on even some rangegy 'going aways'. Loaded them with Hull Pro One's in the other barrel - there're about 42% more expensive - and I could see no discernable difference in barrel fouling. Used the boresnake at the SG while still hot and and quick pull through with a clean and then an oiled patch at home, job done. I ordered some more already, mixture of #7.5/24g & 28g, & 8's/28g fibre. The wife is now using SAGA 20ga 24g 7.5's and there's no real difference from the RC20 T3's she was using previously, except £41 less, at £119 per 1,000.
