mattyg1086
Can i take my brother along with me to do some clays using my gun if he has no licence
bakerboy
Yes. You will be responsible for him, his conduct and safety. Remember it is your SGC that is at risk. As a courtesy it is always good to tell the ground what you are doing. If you are coaching him as you go around, remember to look behind you and ensure you are not holding up other guns. Good luck. Stimo22
Hi, you must make sure that the club has a section11.6 exception on the ground to allow a non certificate holder to use a shotgun
shaun4860
Bywell Shooting Ground up here won't let you do that, If you're a non cert holder you have to go around with one of their instructors

Perhaps they have had trouble with people in the past and have implemented that rule so that it never happens again.
Exudate
I have 2 premier grounds near me, and both are happy to have a SGC holder accompany a non-SGC holder. Edited March 6, 2016 by Exudate

kev56
As said above bringing along a family member/ friend is the best way to introduce new blood into this sport. We need them in the long run.

Where are you based. The A1 Shooting Ground 3 minutes from South Mimms services junction 23 on the M25 will allow you to take a non SGV holder with you

Exudate
Riseley allow SGC holders to accompany a non-SGC holder. That's where I take people who have never shot before, since they always have set beginner targets.
