Alycidon
Handled like a railway sleeper when I had a swing of one. I am a Beretta man but the 682 sporter is a acquired taste in my book, only the SPAS 12 in full mil spec handles worse. A

miroku_fan
I have a 682 Gold sporter with 30" barrels which is one of my all time favourite shotguns regardless of price. The 682 sporter has beautifully figured wood and is superbly made. The grey finish on the action has proved to be very durable. The 682 Gold wears it's twenty two years lightly and still locks up like a vault. The barrel weight is a bit heavy but the balance of the gun has been greatly enhanced by adding some additional weight to the stock. I recently had the wood on the 682 refinished and added a micro core pad to the stock. Superb gun. Hamster
Like these and looking for a 32" sporting model You won't easily find a 32" one in the original spec 682 and to be fair that's prolly not a bad thing as they were a tad heavy ended, the 30" version is more common and still a decent handler if balanced properly. I fear if the barrel requirement is inflexible then you'll have to look for a 682e or 682 Gold at a push.
keithkilvo1
Hi Scully GT is my friend (but it does keep me a poor man) but some of the **** that is advertised on there is not, why can dealers not give an honest description of their goods!! They are in the trade and should know better. Hell no Phil you know I'm a Trappy addict but now and again I like to wildly throw the gun in the direction of a sporting target, usually much to the amusement of those around me......thought if I go from 28" to 32" barrels a few might accidentally break on the barrels
