Dr D
I managed a free hour this afternoon. So, I decided to have a quick flick for a trout. It was very cold in the hills, but I managed one nice overwintered fish. Heavily feeding on bloodworms, hence i reckon the favouring something red. Seems to work well this colour early in the season. I know the rules are black early in the year, but I often find red does the trick. The fish was somewhere between 3 and 4lbs.
