SPclay
Another great shoot on the calendar the Facebook page is open with updates from the build up. The prize fund is big in all classes so hoping it's well supported and a new shoot on the calendar. Scott Barnett is setting the targets and has promised great targets for all the classes. http://midlandsgrandprix.co.uk

figgy
Shaun I think for a suffener anything more than an hour and half a drive from the south coast is classed as north. The Midlands are the frozen north and were no better than wildlings the scots are part of Inuits of the Arctic circle.
SPclay
Video of the ground now on the Facebook page Link might work! https://www.facebook.com/midlandsgrandprix/videos/955348721184979/
BerettaSV10
Expect to shoot some some of scott barnetts famous 'FROGS' They look easy but still catch you out. Those frogs look so simple that you think you would hit everyone of them, yet still miss them. The event should be a good one with Scott and John setting it up. Glenlivet
Shot Mickley Hall a while back. Great people and testing targets but........a bit like shooting from a Nissan hut?? The frogs are wierd.
SPclay
The Midland Grand Prix is on virgin ground away from Mickley Hall. Unfortunately due to sound problems the large booths are necessary, though they do keep the rain off.

eon
Does anyone have any info on the score your own on Monday? Times or cartridge restrictions?? Thanks in advance
Glenlivet
I was told 9-12 with no wad restriction. If the weather is good I'm going and will shoot fibre as all my plaswads are 9s, not enough for some of the stands. Went as a spectator on Friday, lovely looking shoot. Some real gimmes mixed with some real challenging targets. Edited March 26, 2016 by Glenlivet
eon
Got plastic and fibre in 7.5 and 8's and fingers crossed for the weather!

Glenlivet
We had the privilege of watching Paul Wilkinson for about 9 stands on the Friday. I have NEVER seen anyone shoot so fast and so accurately. The man's an ANIMAL!!!!
