Junkyard Dog
It has been teagued to compensate for being regulated in '68 to the load that was made for him for Mexico, he had it done when the 24g rule came about. It kicks like a mule, as have shot it a few times.
Gordon R
Junkyard Dog - you are one of the fortunate few who can say that. It would be a privilege to shoot it - might need some lead to increase the weight, though. Is the bottom barrel multi-choked or just had a 3/4 tube inserted? Junkyard Dog
Its a changeable teague, as we had to refit it, so it could be shot by Ian Peel, at Bob's funeral. It was regulated to 36gm Eley Supertrench and was fine with 32gm, not bad with 28gm, but the 24gm shells didnt do the job, so Bob had it choked.. Junkyard Dog
I'm doing the lottery... Would love to buy the pair, as the D5g that he was given is also in the auction, it has no serial no, just Bob's signature in gold on the top strap.. Junkyard Dog
Serial No 87727 S8 Not many quality guns and most that are listed are not photographed...very poor. Full sale will have pics. Having shot Both of Bob's guns, I do know that there is no serial number visible, its on the bottom of the barrel block, but not on the action, I would estimate that it will take 12K + with commision to lift either of these guns.
