figgy
Find cold smoking takes a long time to develop a good favour. Let us know how it turns out. Think cold smoking is great for butter cheeses garlic and other not meat products. I prefer hot smoking of meat and fish. Did you buy your smoker or did you make it? Brining and marinating in rubs can help with cold smoking too. Edited April 13, 2016 by figgy
leeds chimp
Made the smoker.... just an old fridge with two holes in and a cold smoker machine
figgy
You can use a barbecue a length of flexible aluminium duct and a box with racks as your smoker. Be careful of any heat build up in a fridge as they're well insulated, even with a cold smoker heat is used to generate the smoke.
happy.plinker
My mate lowered Greylag breasts down his chimney,he's got a solid fuel box fire and burnt oak shavings and peat and after about 4 hours they were done,he sliced them very thin and they're by far the tastiest greys I've ever had. He said Hugh fairnly does a similar thing.

figgy
Chimp try lighting them as if your going to burn them like a fire, get them going then ad some more and close up your smoker. You need a few embers to get them away.
