This short would have been shown in the interlude between films or prior to the main feature on matinee days, along with similar general information shorts. The single barrel 12s on the first clip look like Harrington & Richardsons, used one between the ages of 12 and about 18, kicked like a mule but very tight chokes so a hell of a reach.
