roughshooter
Just nosing around available powders at a reasonable price and see that Gay and Lame have CSB5 in 14kg kegs at £32 per KG. I have the data sheets for the powder but was just wondering if anybody had any recently and what they thought of it. My data sheet says it is good for 24g to 32g in 12g regards graham

TONY R
CSB 5 i think would be better for 28 gram loads rather than 32 gram. Its sort of an AS sort of range powder, Its cheaper at that price than its ever been.

C&G have recently increased the price of the vectan powders and are pushing csb5 hence the offer price of csb5. Fes has a powder on offer at £30.00 per kg that load 32gm if that is what you want and you don't need to buy 14kg.
Continental Shooter
considering the changes in burning rate as of recent i would agree with the above statements of not exceeding 28 gr; although i think it performs best on 24-25 (lead)
