kennett
Has it been there long then? I would have to put in for variation first and chop my HMR in, doubt it would hang around that long!
Zetter
Had my variation in for about 3 week and was looking at .17 hornets before that I would guess its been on there for about 2-3 Months. Give em a shout mate if your putting in for a variation see if you can put down a deposit pending the variation coming back?
njc110381
They should have used a straight walled case to minimise feed issues and bullet damage but otherwise it's a sweet round If I had to pick holes in it, it's not the smoothest round to feed. But slap them in and it will go. I think the performance more than makes up for it. The Ackley Hornet is even worse to feed, a complete **** in fact! Alycidon
Superb for rabbit crow etc, bit for foxes placement has to be perfect and side on to boot if using 20 gr pills. 25s may be better for foxes. A lightweight 20 cal would be a better all round rifle with further reach, I have never had a fox move hit with a 20 cal center chest, front or side, but I have lost 3 foxes hit front on chest shots with 17AH. As someone else CZ527 is a go to rifle. A
Zetter
Are Savage a bit hit and miss vs the CZ the only reason I ask is Savage is a lot more availible I think on GT at the moment there are only three listed and I must admit I do like the Savage thumbhole stock
