stuy
Well as I reported in last post I thought I was on a winner yesterday, but as ever things got in the way, got to the field nice and early, set up sum flags , put rope bangers on 2 other stubbles just in case , but I didnt account for the combine working the wheat fields running along the woods the pigeon were coming from which changes everything! It pushed the birds to another line outof the wood to another field so quickly got round there to have a look, but couldn't shoot as it was near release pens birds etc..!!!! So back to the original field and put out every decoy I had 50! 2 magnets, 2 flappers trying to draw birds over the combines to the original field ended the day with exactly 100 hard won birds
JDog
Those farmers are so inconsiderate. However a hundred bird day is pretty good in anyone's books.

marsh man
You done well stuy considering you only started with the minimum of gear , as already said , 100 bird day is still a Red letter day and after one or two set backs you still ended up with an excellent solo bag .
