A few of us bought a few bags last year. It didn't work out much (if any) cheaper.

Cheers for letting me know motty

What size shot are you thinking off might be interested in half a bag if you don't want 10 lb .

A very good point which I hadn't considered  I'll do a bit of digging in PW's archives to see what people are using.

The E-Shot looks interesting for the likes of me and those that still use older SxS's.

indeed, heavier than lead and can be used in any gun, I have 5lb in U.S. 4's and will be using it through my old sxs. a friend brought it back from the states. I paid £80 for 5lb, I think its only available for reloading and you load as lead whats not to like ;)

The cost!!!!

Do you know what sizes it comes in?

Looks like I might have to get into this reloading lark.

Guest cookoff013

that itx i personally believe offers very good value (for what it is..)

its probably the cheapest tungsten nontox, by weight.

it offers the better value / shots really. being near density as hard lead.

i think it works out like thisss.

powershot 2500/k -40g loads

nice £1800/k 35g loads

itx 1500/k 35g loads

steel -£250/k- 24g sporter,

steel +£300-350-32g 1400fps, #2 etc....

£40 a kg is cheap........ish

I asked for US 6 and 4 but he only brought back the 4, unfortunately its only available in the u.s at the moment, shame others arn't interested ! maybe get some sent over

re-loading is the way to go, I'm sure you would find it fascinating, beware, finding the right recipes and then the components to match, then actually constructing a load comes at a cost both in time and finance but is well worth it for the understanding and pleasure it gives, plenty of advice on here,

Still advertised, look at the top of the page. I will be looking to get some soon, about to load the Powershot I have, but I believe it's almost the same thing.

You are long way from me but I do go up to the Wash.

Cheers mate, I did see that, didn't realise it was an actual link, quite amazing the variety of non toxic they have over there.
