Fair enough, will see if they reply. Would be collecting as well making a saving on postage.

Reekie Country Shop in Fife is listed by Eley as stocking cartridges and have also contacted them but so far no response either.

Not so impressed to be honest, I'd be looking to buy a good number of carts in the future and wanted to try local before going to justcartridges.

Been getting a good few recommendations from people via PM and this thread so cheers for the input good.gif.pagespeed.ce.PoYRIVsMjL.gif

Reekie Country Shop got back to me today and said that they don't have a price/stock list to send out but can call for prices.

I'll call them tomorrow if I get a minute and keep you all posted in terms of prices and range etc

Just trying to build a bit of a network near Fife/Edinburgh. I mainly shoot clays and I'm happy buying clay loads from local RFD/Clay grounds but game cartridges are slightly more difficult.

It's more high end game cartridges from my local shop and I'm just after an affordable supply of 30gr 5/6.

Response from Mark Telfer at Cartridge Warehouse today. Very polite and helpful, provided a list of stock which seems to be exclusively Express at the minute.

OK prices, especially when buying in multiples of 1000 but available from quantity of 250. English Sporter 28g F at £197 per thousand, HV Standard 24g F £215.50 to give a rough idea of price. Open Mon-Sat. No reason not to make a purchase at some point.

Thought I'd put the info on the forum here for future reference.

See if there's a Fiocchi dealer up your way, they are great cartridges and at a really good price. They don't seem to have gone up in price yet unlike a lot of the other brands recently.

Just Cartridges do them but they are cheaper at regular dealers.

TT1 28g 7.5's £140 ish per 1000. I pay a bit more for the FBlack clay loads with hard shot. PL32 32g 5 fibre under £200 and I use them on pigeons and crows as they are harder hitting than most pigeon loads, though they do one of those cheaper. Even their top Golden Pheasant 32g game loads at 1450fps and with nickel plated shot come in under £70 a slab and I think they are up there with Black Gold for performance. The Italian team use the Golden Trap version in competition.
