Nick_MSM
My cabinet is a little tight for space since buying a new air rifle. I noticed a very small dink on my Beretta stock so have decided I need to protect them now. I have been looking at gun socks, but I don't like the idea of silicone treated. Is there anything available which isn't treated?
Seadog1408
How about this one nick? http://www.napieruk.com/acatalog/Roller-gun-slip--4801--292.html#SID=31 Meant for out and about but..........
Nick_MSM
Thanks, that might work although could be a bit bulky. The silicone ones look ideal but I just worry about them keeping moisture in etc, my guns are always cleaned before storing so maybe I am being over paranoid about them? Seadog1408
I think you might be nick!, if the cabinet is in a warm house and the guns are dry when put back in, I can't see moisture being a problem?..........
figgy
Unless your air rifle is FAC or you have people under the age of 18 in the house there is no need to put your air rifle in the cabinet.

Mainly just to keep the house tidy, but might be an idea to leave them in a cupboard somewhere else! Frees up cabinet for a semi then... I made an offer and got 10 from fullmarkshuntingfishing for £25 delivered, which is a bargain compared to what you'll pay in the shops. Well made too. sportsbob
Hmm lets think about this a nice green knitted purpose made sock for £2.50 or an old pump bag from your school days in the 60s
