winnie&bezza
Evening all. I want to take out and clean the ejectors of my 20b macnab highlander o/u but before I start fiddling with it, does anyone know how to remove them?. I have removed beretta ejectors before by pushing and twisting if I remember but I don't if it's the same method.
Gordon R
McNab Highlander 20 gauge made by B. Rizzini - you push the ejector forward, push up on the front slide (it keeps the ejector in place forward) - you the depress the "keeper" in the hole in the perpendicular slide under the ejector and release the front slide. The ejector slides out the chamber end.

Old Boggy
Thanks Gordon, I too have a 20 bore Macnab slide plated Highlander and have always wondered if there was an easy way to remove the ejectors. It appears that there is and thanks to you, I now know. Many thanks OB

Mr.C
Seem to remember doing mine and if you move the retaining slide too far the spring and plunger make a less than entertaining bid for freedom. Thankfully I found both on the other side of the kitchen, via the ceiling.

I dread to think how many small parts there are scattered somewhere near my workbench.

TIGHTCHOKE
Next time put the breech end of the barrels in a strong clear plastic bag. Put you hands inside and loosen off the ejectors as Gordon has told you and hey presto any escaping small parts will be held within the bag!
