McNab Highlander 20 gauge made by B. Rizzini - you push the ejector forward, push up on the front slide (it keeps the ejector in place forward) - you the depress the "keeper" in the hole in the perpendicular slide under the ejector and release the front slide. The ejector slides out the chamber end.

Thanks Gordon,

I too have a 20 bore Macnab slide plated Highlander and have always wondered if there was an easy way to remove the ejectors.

It appears that there is and thanks to you, I now know.

Many thanks

OB

Seem to remember doing mine and if you move the retaining slide too far the spring and plunger make a less than entertaining bid for freedom. Thankfully I found both on the other side of the kitchen, via the ceiling.

Oh that sounds so like my kind of engineering!

I dread to think how many small parts there are scattered somewhere near my workbench.
