flyeruk
I picked this up a few weeks ago. Its a Yamaha yfm 250. Its 1989,was a dirty blue colour when i got it and a non runner.I have put new tyres on,new carb, added the back box and did a spray job in nato green. It now runs perfectly and carries all my decoying gear with no problem at all. I went out on my perm the other day,but didnt have much luck. The woodies were around but couldnt find a decent flight line as they seemed to be coming from all over the place. Anyway,it gave me a chance to get used to the quad, never been on one before, and its great. My perm is quite big and the quad got me to places i hadnt been to before, being a long walk from the car with all my gear. Looking forward to the next few months not having to lug all my gear over the fields. Sorry, should have posted in Motoring Section Edited December 31, 2016 by flyeruk
Davyo
Get youself a 3 of ASDA bread trays. One on the front & 2 on the back as they stack locked together.I used to get all my decoying kit on.I used to always leave it on the quad,i just used to drive the quad out of the garage onto the trailer, then drive off when i got to the farm. Enjoy it mate,it makes life a whole lot easier.

Mr.C
As a former biker I would recommend you get the seat recovered. Thats not a nice place to get squirted with cold water.
flyeruk
Only paid a couple of hundred for it . It had been in a lock up for a long time. Just waiting for the certificate of conformity from Yamaha, then will get it Agri registered.
