steve_b_wales
Any recommendations for the above? I'd like to do some video when using my Pulsar N750A.

For the price, it's worth giving it a try. I only want to record my outings occasionally. Thanks.
Dave-G
You'll need a power supply for that type. I personally think that by the time it has been hardwired to a 5v user supply battery, camera and monitor a person might do better to get a regular mini DVR with a built in battery. A Maplins Angel eye seems to be mostly used by those who will only buy budget items but a FPV DVR is a step further upmarket. You would still need to source an aftermarket cable for it that has the correct pin outs in the 4 segment AV in plug though. Also bear in mind that setting up the record and waiting for it to actually start recording sometimes means the window of kill opportunity has been lost. Rabbits offer plenty of setting up time but foxes in particular will be more challenging.

I want to actually video a Fox coming to a bait site (hopefully)
Dave-G
A trailcam might be better for that Steve, though I have never used one myself. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2055119.m570.l1313.TR12.TRC2.A0.H0.TRS0&_nkw=trailcam&_sacat=0 Edited January 3, 2017 by Dave-G

It would be even better if I could actually get the kill on video. Regarding a trailcam, it's another thing on my list to buy this year, and the first one shown on the Ebay link you gave, looks okay for the money. jimmyb79
I have two that I use with Pulsar devices. One is a Yukon MPR and is good, but does compress the image that it records a fair bit. The other I got recently is a Lawmate PV500. Bit more expensive but the footage is better quality. http://www.scottcountry.co.uk/products_detail.asp?productID=3618
fizzbangwhallop
These aren't bad...originally flagged up by Tremo on the NVUK forum........... but they've gone up from the original £80! Tremo did post some footage from his. They've also got a single rocker turn on and record/off remote switch so you can mount the recorder in a pouch and just run the cable and switch close to hand. Got mine into a clamshell type camera hardcase with a QR mount so it just sits on a tube mount pic rail Cheers Fizz Edited January 3, 2017 by fizzbangwhallop

steve_b_wales
I've heard good reports about the Angel Eye. This should be good to connect to my Pulsar N750A scope. What supplies the power to it?
