No I don't want to get into the Brexit debate, just the agricultural aspects of food production It's way our of UK season for these veg and additional lighting and heating is expensive. Bigbob Posted February 8, 2017 Report Share Posted February 8, 2017 We where letting a delivery driver in at work yesterday and i asked you got any iceberg lettuce , he said see the wholesalers down the road its usually green from wall to wall now there's just a wee bit in the middle of lettuce i said anybody mugging you wont want your cash they will be stealing your icebergs he said till last week i didnt know what they where the only folk moaning will be mcdonalds Its coming up to spring here most growers will be trying to get some going under glass only takes three weeks to maturity Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
