Fibre wad reloading data 12 bore

Recommended Posts

You will find fibre load data for psb2 (PSB+2) at

http://www.gualandi.it/docs/tabpolv_2013_eng.pdf

Just scroll the pages until you get to psb2 you will need to by trial and error arrive at the wad height for the length of case you are using.

Unable to help for Red dot it's not a powder associated with fibre wads as the yanks don't do fibre as far as I know hence the problem finding what you are looking for.

So far found most of the data I've looked for, eventually, for plastic wad but hardly anything about for fibre wad?

Clay and Game have given me some recipes for the ones I've had of them but was wondering if there's somewhere where there's more for fibre wads!

Cheers

Ahh handy to know, didn't know psb+2 was the same. Thought it was something different so skipped past it.

How do you go about getting a load proofed? Make some and send them to the proof house? Any idea on the cost?

its expensive, i know. dont ask how i know......

its £40 for a 20 firing, but in all honestly forget doing a 5 shot string because the data that comes from that is "suspect" i proof about £200 a year. in either 5 shotstring or 10 shotstrings.

second, if you are serious about testing PM me. i could give you pointers to not totally waste your money and time. i wasted so much there its quite funny. but i`ve found some absolute gems.

my next lots of testing would be with csb5 and psb+2. plastic and fibre, and some dodgy steel loads.

fibre really is the way forward.

Interested in any recipes for psb2 with fibre!!!

More and more places are wanting fibre, the syndicate preferred it last year, this year it's fibre only!

More and more small clay shoots are fibre only as well.

Can see why.

All still really new to me so I'm sticking with recipes that are already known before I think about changing things
