walt1980
So far found most of the data I've looked for, eventually, for plastic wad but hardly anything about for fibre wad? Clay and Game have given me some recipes for the ones I've had of them but was wondering if there's somewhere where there's more for fibre wads! Cheers

walt1980
I've got red dot and psb2. Want to load 32g and 35/6g So far used 4mm nitro card, 20mm wad, 3mm packing then 32g shot on top. Powder I think was 20grn red dot (not got my book in front of me) used 24grn psb2 but not shot any as yet.

rbrowning2
You will find fibre load data for psb2 (PSB+2) at http://www.gualandi.it/docs/tabpolv_2013_eng.pdf Just scroll the pages until you get to psb2 you will need to by trial and error arrive at the wad height for the length of case you are using. Unable to help for Red dot it's not a powder associated with fibre wads as the yanks don't do fibre as far as I know hence the problem finding what you are looking for. walt1980
Ahh handy to know, didn't know psb+2 was the same. Thought it was something different so skipped past it. How do you go about getting a load proofed? Make some and send them to the proof house? Any idea on the cost?
super sharp shooter
Think it's 45ish now. You can take them and drop them off and have a chat while your there. You can split the test up so you could get a couple of different loads proofed for your money. Guest cookoff013
Ahh handy to know, didn't know psb+2 was the same. Thought it was something different so skipped past it. How do you go about getting a load proofed? Make some and send them to the proof house? Any idea on the cost? its expensive, i know. dont ask how i know...... its £40 for a 20 firing, but in all honestly forget doing a 5 shot string because the data that comes from that is "suspect" i proof about £200 a year. in either 5 shotstring or 10 shotstrings. second, if you are serious about testing PM me. i could give you pointers to not totally waste your money and time. i wasted so much there its quite funny. but i`ve found some absolute gems. my next lots of testing would be with csb5 and psb+2. plastic and fibre, and some dodgy steel loads. fibre really is the way forward. walt1980
Interested in any recipes for psb2 with fibre!!! More and more places are wanting fibre, the syndicate preferred it last year, this year it's fibre only! More and more small clay shoots are fibre only as well. Can see why. All still really new to me so I'm sticking with recipes that are already known before I think about changing things

cliveward
Page 17 here has fibre data for PSB 2 http://www.gualandi.it/docs/tabpolv_2013_eng.pdf You'd need to sort out your own wad height, etc. though. All of my shoots have been fibre only for years, hence getting into cartridge reloading for the 28. rbrowning2
Walt1980 if you are buying eley cartridges at trade prices why are you looking at reloading? What am I not understanding?
walt1980
Like I've said elsewhere, it's not that I need to load my own but want to learn about the reloading side of things. It's more out of curiousity than anything else.
