ElvisThePelvis
I am in the process of buying an HMR and am torn between a C&H and the CZ. Nothing really in the cost between the two, i just fancy having something a little different. All opinions good or bad are appreciated. JRDS
Both made by CZ the C&H looks a little better finished to my eyes but they are much the same rifle.
dodeer
Unless they are the same price then id buy the CZ

Thanks, hadn't realised that. Unless they are the same price then id buy the CZ £15 difference in it ..
Paul sullivan
Think the C&H Has a longer warranty to?
wokkywokky
I have the C+H in 22lr. same quality mechanically as the CZ as its made by CZ. Wood for the C+H is hand selected and has a nicer pattern. Plus you get the longer warranty. win win with no down side when compared to a CZ

Walker570
Horses for courses. Do you want a better looking rifle or one which will do the same job. I object to paying for a name. See it everywhere 'hand selected' 'hand finished' Edited February 15, 2017 by Walker570
Roy King
I have a cz in 17HMR. It's a basic rifle, but you have to give it 10 out of 10 for accuracy, from 50-150 meters. lovely weapon. if the C&H is the same but looks better, ie stock, warranty etc.. GO FOR IT.. nabbers
I bought the Cogswell and Harrison. Reasons; the wood is far nicer, longer warranty, and its good to support an English gun maker even if they don't actually make this rifle and I think the C and H name gives you the edge when it comes to resale. The gunsmith swapped the stock for my .22LR in the shop for another on a HMR that was nicer still, gorgeous bit of wood, I'd see if you can choose from a several to get the best one.
