Good shot?
Yes 16mm is ideal. May have to re-focus and screw camera lens slightly back or forward. Edited March 8, 2017 by Good shot?

colin lad
the camera needs to be about 4" from scope for most https://www.sure24.co.uk/vigilant-pcblens16-board-lens-16mm-engraved.html colin

activeviii
Go to the manual of scope manufacturer and look up the eye relief for your scope. Set you camera lens to that distance. A 12mm gives you a round image on the viewer. 16mm gives an image with corners cropped. A 20mm gives a slight magnification. Some it works for others prefer the 16mm. The slight magnification lets you use less mag on your scope so more light gets to the camera
Davyo
16mm is the preferred lens and remember that if to have a scope that has an eye relief of say 2" this where the camera will sit.But remember that you will have to adjust the diopter focus as the camera will be out of focus unlike you eye. To explain this watch Dave G's video where he explains this when turning the tube. Edited March 12, 2017 by Davyo

Dave-G
LOL - I've gone a bit too senile to remember which video Davyo refers to. I've got oodles of 16mm E700 lenses laying about from spotters I've built. PM me your address and I'll bung one in an envelope for you.
