Newbie to this
Does anyone know why walther have discontinued all of their tactical 22lr guns. Not sure if this is only in the UK or all together, but it is now impossible to get a new tactical 22lr.

Newbie to this
i bought a H & K 416 about 6 month ago? Seemed to be a few about then.I just tried to get one today, and was told the same thing by 2 different RFDs, walther have discontinued all their tactical 22lr range, H&K, colt and any others they made. Apparently it stopped about a month ago. Just wondering if anybody had a news as to why, both RFDs said they're amoung their best selling guns. mel b3
Probably nerves about the outcome of the EU firearms directive I did read somewhere that noises were being made about a ban on black guns , I would guess that maybe its about to happen. Nope, Quote from the feedback on the BASC website. 4. Will semi-automatic rim fire rifles be banned? .22 calibre semi-automatic rim-fire rifles remain for hunters and target shooters to own. This is regardless of magazine capacity and means the UK will keep the status quo.

keg
A quick update- Spoke to my RFD and the shortage of stock is down to sorting out who has the rights to use the name etc so IP/Contract issue rather than anything else.
Newbie to this
Bought a 'smith and wesson m&p 15-22 sport moe sl' now instead, I really wanted the 416 but I couldn't source a new one. If they start to roll them off again I might have to put in for a variation.
