Keith RW Posted April 7, 2017 Report Share Posted April 7, 2017 Evening all I need a gasket/ bead or whatever its called for a 28mm double glazed internal window between a conservatory and kitchen that I have just replaced the unit in and the internal rear gasket isn't present so the unit isnt as good a fit in the frame as it should be, last one had lead strips stuck on it so figure original seal was removed to accomodate. can any of you guys point me in the direction of what I am looking for cheers in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Or you can get or cut some packers wedge the pane out tight to the slip and then just silicone around frame to keep glass tight..... vampire Posted April 7, 2017 Report Share Posted April 7, 2017 Is it a seal or foam tape you need,external glaze and it may be the sticky foam,if its internal glazed the look on the bay for images/sizes you will find it,if not visit a local window firm they will have miles of the stuff. We have 28mm beveled bead and repair gasket for bead that didn't have the gasket already on the bead it's self. But I need to see the bead out of the window to see if I can match it for you Oh just re read and it's the gasket you need! Keith RW Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Share Posted April 8, 2017 Hi Sorry no as this was a replacement frame that I had made up around 17 years ago when I put the conservatory on to replace an existing wooden frame and just to fill the gap between it and the kitchen,unfortunatly brain fade dosent allow me to remember where I purchased it from....happening quite a bit a lately thanks to all on the forum for your assistance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
