billytheghillie
I saw my first osprey of the year today. He dived twice but was unsuccessful. Anybody else had any sightings?
Red-dot
Dozens round here, quite common to see half a dozen at once.
JDog
We had 'dozens' come into our decoys yesterday. Common as muck.
Oldgun
They fly over my house on a regular basis, and make quite a lot of noise. I think that they are based at Lakenheath.
Pugs
I think the OP means the first migratory birds of the year have arrived!
chrisjpainter
Good news indeed! we've had a bit of a southerly wind today, so hopefully lots of migrants will have hitched a lift over. BTO's tracked cuckoos haven't made much movement though. most of them are still living the high life in West Africa! Only one's made it to spain. Selbourne's miles ahead of everyone else

fandango
Seen one last weekend, west Cumbria, could have been one of the birds that nest at bassenthwaite, but I suspect it was on it way to a more northerly location
