Beagle boy
Evening all Had a call off a friend saying he's seen loads of pigeons on beans that are sprouting. Have you guys had any good days on them with this or is it just a passing chance of them being on beans that are sprouting?
aga man
Are you sure they are beans and not peas? Although not impossible for pigeons to be feeding on the sporouting beans it is unusual i would say unless there is chickweed or some other weeds there too. JDog
Pigeons are unable to pull up sprouting beans unlike corvids. I imagine that they are on weeds as Agaman says.
Catamong
Both JDog and Aga Man are correct, pigeons won't go for sprouting tic beans, but they will go for sprouting Soya Beans, as some farmers are now starting to grow. One of my Farmer friends is growing some on areas of failed rape and has been warned by others that they are very attractive to pigeons, so it may be worth checking? Hur5ty
The very early stages of the Bean breaking the service will attract Pigeons.
