eon
Can anyone tell me what percentage of registered shooters are in each class? I have just told my other half that I've gone up a class and she asked! Thanks in advance

eon
Thanks Stevo, that's how I know I've gone up but it doesn't help with regards to my other half's question
Guest stevo
I have no idea how you could work that out. I can only tell you the CPSA has around 25000 members

TIGHTCHOKE
Why not? *10% (5% DTL, ESK) below the raw average is 77.60% - 7.76% which equals 69.84%, meaning that any score(s) of 69 or below is discarded. **Calculated averages are rounded to 2 decimal places, such as this case which is 80.75%. This process and ‘adjusted’ average provides for a truer reflection of ability of each members shooting. How are the cut-off points for the classifications calculated? It is the ‘adjusted’ average then which is used to determine the cut-off points for each issue based on a minimum number of targets for each discipline which is 500 targets counting towards the ‘adjusted’ average for the major disciplines such as Down The Line, English Skeet and English Sporting. The cut-off points are then determined based on the total number of shooters with ‘adjusted’ averages meeting the above criteria. Separating English Sporting for example into the top 5% (AAA), next 10% (AA), next 30% (A), next 30% (B), and last 25% ©. Rupert
Ask the CPSA, sometimes they can be helpful, figures may be a bit skewed as some shooters shoot more than 1 discipline, i shoot ESP and STR regular but once shot ABT so to some i apprear in all 3 sets of numbers.
