Eyefor
The Normark filleting knives are damutznutz. I have the large and the small (as your picture) and both have seen years of abuse (mainly in salt water) and they are still going strong. Mine will not be for sale any time soon. Good luck with the sale.

Eyefor
Sorry, no idea what or who Maitlium is. Even Google failed on that one. Both my hunting knives are from Scandinavia - a Helle and a Fallkniven. Both are great knives. Edited June 7, 2017 by Eyefor

figgy
You can't go wrong. 49 years old and like new almost: Had one in the late seventies and through the eighties left it behind it when I left home, never to be seen again. Used to shave with mine after sharpening it. Can't see it on the picture but I'm sure there is a small button riveted over from the tang at the end of the handle. fortune
Just how things have changed. Years ago every boy scout had a sheath knife like that. I have one just like that one somewhere. Knives were carried everywhere, at school and out in the street. I even used to carry a Webley air pistol in an inside pocket of my school blaser like a secret service agent. But I didn't go round threatening people or shooting out the school Windows and stuff.

figgy
Wimberly it won't be on yours only the wooden handled ones to retain the handle on the tang. Yours has brass bolsters.
