Hi,

I had a call last week asking me to sort out the rabbits at the rugby club. :good: I will be lamping them with a 12 bore shotgun. I used my 20 bore last time but have decided to use the 12 bore for the upcoming lamping sessions.

Now... I like to plan everything as carefully as I can in advance. (an annoying but rather useful habit) I will either use Gamebore Pure Gold 32g no.6 fibre wad or RC Sipe 32g no.5 fibre wad. The gun is choked with 1/2 in the first trigger and full in the second. No shots will be taken over 40m.

Which loads would you use or would you use a combination of one size shot in one barrel and another size in the other barrel? B)

It will be interesting to see how other people think and which loads you chose. B)

I usually use a .410 with Eley 3" Mags - 18gm/6's and drops them everytime. However shot one with a 12g clear pigeon 32gm/6's on a walk round at the weekend and as someone mentions above the damage is far to extreme - Overkill I would say!
