scolopax
My club will be again issuing season tickets for wildfowling on the Humber. At only £60 the permit allows access from 1st September to 20th February to 6 miles of foreshore shooting at Sunk Island, on the north bank of the outer estuary. Applicants must have insurance, preferably BASC membership, and they must also have a gundog capable of retrieving shot birds or accompany someone else with such a gundog. Shooting is for wildfowl only, main species Mallard, Teal and Wigeon. Maps and guidelines will be issued with the permit.PM me for more details. butchdickason
I think the reason for the Dog rule is obvious.
grahamch
I think the reason for the Dog rule is obvious. Have fowled for 35 years without a dog and had no problems just be selective with your shots

scolopax
After many years this will be the first when I do not advertise this particular permit scheme. The decision has been made to discontinue the full season permit for non club members. The club does have vacancies for full membership offering wildfowling on extensive reaches of the upper and lower Humber.

What’s the reason behind that if you don’t mind me asking? seems like a great way for people to get into wildfowling
