ips
I am thinking that a takedown slip may be a good idea for my syndicate shoots which are stand one walk one. Navigating woods and climbing fences whilst also working the dog is a real pain with a full length slip. Anyone else used one or have any thoughts on the matter ? steve_b_wales
I sometimes use one. It's a roll up one that attaches to a belt or clip.
ips
Sounds handy, must be thin though. Got a link??
steve_b_wales
Sounds handy, must be thin though. Got a link?? Yes, it is a bit on the thin side and it's made of nylon. It's not the best, but it suits my needs. I actually got it as a free gift when subscribing to a shooting magazine a few years ago, but I'll see if I can find if there's a manufacturers name on it. Get one of the standing guns to take your gun to their peg, then when you emerge from whatever, you collect it and return the favour.
