we had a lady move in to our village and she bought a cottage next to the church!!!!!

yep you guessed it she complained about the bells that kept ringing!!!!

some people....

 

That was the local vicar in my village, she complain about a few of the villagers practicing bell ringing one night a week.

I'm not sure. On the video he mentions the farmer "not putting the straw stopper on minimum" (or something like that). Which seems to indicate that he knows something about it.

Not sure what a straw stopper is I know what a straw chopper is though. I drove combines for 30 years what have I missed

Just stayed on a working farm in the Lakes ,one woman <Londoner in a tent> complained she didnt like the noises the geese and ducks made and the smell of the animals as a vegetarian she said farming is wrong .This to a farmers wife on a working farm ,where did she think she was staying the bloomin Ritz :oops:

Coming from Sheffield for the first 40 year of my life I suppose I'm considered a townie, 😔

We now live in a cottage where the milking parlour is within spitting distance and we have only farms as neighbours.

It's blummin marvellous 😁

Farms can be 24/7 factories depending on what's going on.

You need to muck in and help, the other week I got in from work and helped get 30 odd calves back into their field.

I will most likely be cutting the farmers grass tonight as the are a couple of peeps down for the milking so he won't have time to do it. Looking at the barley they will be harvesting that soon, then there's the maize and probably another silage cut.

Sometimes glad iv got a normal job and can get away from it at teatime.

Bloke in the video should be glad of the good bits of living in the countryside and get on with his life.
