Just this morning 41 pige and 39 blacks

So I drive past this field every day towns from work at 8 and 5 pm .

And it's been full of blacks and pige every time for a week

Today they just played ball with the vast majority decoying very well .

Even The crows .and my hide was poor .Just a net infront of a tree in the middle of the field .

I should have had more but they are hard to kill .

Have to hit them inside 40 yds to be effective

And better at 25 /30 .

Thanks I was away for a couple of weeks on hols .and missed most of the wheat harvest .my mate had a bash but didn't do too well .

So today was a bit of a last hurrah of the year .and was only 3 birds short of my max bag of 83 . (And that was a combined effort .

Shot that lot in under 4 hours with the red dot on my hushpower .

A good result. Around these parts there is just too much stubble, really. Once a load get ploughed in then perhaps I can make some proper bags. Had a few hours out for 36 pigeons today.
