Cawdor118
I am just home from a 300+ mile trip where I enjoyed a round of clays at the above site. I must say it was a warm welcoming ground with great staff. Thoroughly recommend with no association to the ground.
shaun4860
There are some nice grounds up north of the border
grrclark
There are a few good grounds in Scotland, but of course limited by market size. Cluny is a fine ground, great clubhouse and nice people and a good pay and play ground; young Scott, the clays manager, is a good lad and his dad is a commonwealth gold medalist shooter. Scott is the exact lad I dealt with. Good guy all round. I did Auchterhouse last week. Again a good shoot. All serious travelling time from the north though. johnnytheboy
After shooting season we will start up the Scottish fundays again! Long way to travel if your heading from above Inverness but it’s a chance to meet folk on here!
Cawdor118
I am near Inverness, a couple of lads I know were down at Cluny yesterday, shame I couldn't make it. Rothiemurchus is about the best sporting up here.
johnnytheboy
We need to put rothiemurchus on the agenda for a Scottish funday, I bought my dad a lesson when he was on holiday there and walked round with him, it’s such a beautiful ground! It's been modernised recently. It's much better than it was.
Uilleachan
Shot Cluny for the first time today, enjoyed it too. Great layout and some interesting (read tricky) pairs. Lads were working hard to keep everything running due to everything being frozen, despite the slightly above zero air temp, I rather fancy it was a losing battle. Still managed to have a great time and still managed to pop a slab, most definitely be back, when the weather improves. Shot Auchterhouse, in the snow, yesterday as well, which was great as always.
