Cleaning Rod

I've got this rod that I've owned for 20+years. I want to buy new brushes for it but not sure what make the rod is. The handle on the rod revolves, and it's approx 38" /94cm in length. Hopefully, the photo's will give someone a clue. The only other option I have is to take the rod to an RFD and see if they have brushes to fit. I haven't any old brushes to take.

Can you measure the thread?

What did you previously use it to clean and what type of brush?

It was used to clean various calibres, .22LR - .308 using bronze/nylon brushes and wool mops.

It looks like a Parker Hale rod to me, I have one and I think Bisley brushes, jags etc fit them , just make sure you get them with a female thread as your rod has a male thread.

I think you are right.

I think Newbie is right, just checked mine and its the same as photo. I got it for my .22lr CZ, and have a black handled one which is for the .17hmr CZ.

Yes it is. Just found an old packet that held a PH brush, so my rod must be a PH one.

Thanks to all who commented on my post. :good:

And for anyone interested, Ant Supplies are offering a 'buy two get one free' deal on PH brushes etc.
