Jaymo
Realise with the forthcoming change in legislation that this and many other powders will not conform to the new EU regs, but does anyone know of any currently held in stock? Mucho appreciated
Graham M
Have you thought about using IMR4350. It's supposed to be more temperature sensitive than Hodgdon's but we don't get that much in the way of heat or cold in Blighty. Dougy
I've got a cupboard upstairs that absolutely reeks of rocking horse manure.
Jaymo
Thanks Graham. I have some alternatives already in use, but it was a thought that if some 4350 was still available then - why not. Dougy, that’s not Rockimg horse poop you can smell, it’s called an airing cupboard and the flowery smell means your clothes are clean ( supposedly, I prefer th sniff test :-) )
Vince Green
I don't know because I haven't tried it but h4350 roughly corresponds to Swiss RS62 or Vhit N160. A lot of my friends are trying the Swiss powders and generally the results are good. It seems the obvious way forward. Of course its back on the learning curve again but what else can you do? Dougy
N160 is rather slow in a 260, (depends on what kind of range your going. You will get to 1k with N160 with 140s though. The SR62 is faster and i will probably go with that after my little stash of H4350 has gone.
Jaymo
It’s for my 300win mag with 178’s- have it really nice. Do have some Swiss in the cupboard for the next stage of the journey

Got about 3/4of a tub, it needed more work, I then got more H4350 so stopped load development with the RS62.
mick miller
N550 is superb in the 260, just treat viht data as being conservative. I'm pushing a 123gr bullet head tip to 2,900fps no problem at all.
lukeandmax87
My mates used Lovex S070 in his winmag with good results, I use the same in 6.5x47 due to the shortage of H4350 and my mates just gone the same way with his creedmoor
