Any preparation techniques to share for tomorrow then?

I reckon Pin is sitting cross legged in an oxygen tent repeating the mantra 'Be the clay'. :P

That's an Essex mantra, well, Essex/Suffolk. I just keep saying "I chipped that" or "I didn't miss, there's great big holes in my pattern" :good:

Well it's 11 o'clock and half the competition is on here and probably half cut to boot :P:good:

so much for an early night and clear head :lol:

we be setting out at 06.30 in the morn chaps see yous at 8.45 / 09.00

I have paid a low wage Polish worker to post under my handle throughout the night thereby leaving me free to get an early night. His bad grasp of English will be mistaken for my drunkeness and low and behold tomorrow the astonishment on your faces when I spring into action fresh as a daisy.

I understand that PIN has done likewise however the one he has paid does *the best* sloshed impression. He must have got one fresh out of the chunnel.

No, I am just a Geordie so can be trusted to get ****** at the drop of a hat, even if something important dictates that's not a great thing to have done :P

It will make my employers my victory sweeter when I do it with a hangover the size of Kent :good:

So then.

Gold to Tosspot, Silver to Mungler and Bronze to Pin.

Applying Suffolkshooters special formula for scores (following the time honoured tradition of, if you can't win keep score), I have disqualified Tosspot on a technicality, that technicality being he shot more clays than me.

So, it's Gold to me, Silver to PIN and I have awarded Bronze to myself in addition just for the hell of it.

I am thinking about disqualifying PIN because he is a Northener......

So, final round up:

Gold : Mungler

Silver : Mungler

Bronze : Mungler

Good day as ever and I can't wait for the next one.

Well done Tosspot,

I knew I could rely on you to kick **** in my absence.

My spies have told me that yet more lead was wasted trying in vain to hit the battue from the tower.

See you all on the next one.

A very enjoyable day, thank you guys. I don't mind missing the hard ones but screwing up the easy shots are a tad annoying. Ah well i blame Tosspot for missing out on the first straight of the day. :good:

Stand 4 seems bit naughty.....or was the hangover starting to kick in for you chaps

Yeah that was the battue, although GaryB didn't seem the find it a problem. Good on him, it's not like anyone had paid 40 quid to learn that stand and still screw it up, that would be crazy.

P.S. I thought you were coming?

Ho ho, I didn't pay £40 to "learn that stand".

I paid it to Tracy Dines for a lesson.

I guess that means you owe me £40 now, wokka wokka.

Seriously though, Tracy Dines said I was a (good looking) natural who was likely to clean up amongst the PW Clay shooters, but to beware the Dark Lords Tosspot and Catamong.

What a cracking day, clays ******** but then pigeon shooting with garyb. His first time out on the pigeon, wish I'd taken a picture of the look on his boat race when he downed his first bluey!

Lads, cracking banter as always, was a little disappointed to loose to the Mungster by 1 clay, mind by my standards I had a very bad day at the office :stupid: If I have sufficient skill to expect more from myself is a matter for me I guess :stupid:

Very good variation of targets there, can't say I liked the teals (did I even hit any?)

Again, this time closer to tosspot :good:

Great day guys, as always

been to this place twice now and still ain't hit that battue

the one thing that is evident is that the standard of the usual suspects is rising :good:

this Gary fella you know ...the one who hit those three battues....look out for him....Mungler you will soon be his bitch

Pin tried adding to his skeet vest collection, but they wanted their marquee back, never mind mate you'll have to make do with simons' glasses

till the next time :stupid: :stupid:

BTW

you hear about the 17 mile tailback at the QE bridge, well i was in it, after two hours got off at first available exit and headed for the blackwall tunnel...alas along with about 5 thousand others, three hours later got on the M25 back at Dartford, Jesus, motorway shut in opposite direction accident involving a stretch limo, nasty, weird seeing six lanes of traffic going in same direction, got home at 20.30  :good: still worth it and deffo up for more

Erm, dodgy addition.

13 stands of 8 clays is ex104. I have 34 misses, from 104 which is 70 and a draw, yet again, with Mungler. Will we ever settle this?

You sure, just counted your misses i can see 35.

Hmmm,

I've known Tracy for many years, I first met her when Mungler was probably spitting out his dummy to shoot his .177 Gat gun from the buggy.. :good:, still, I'm glad to hear she's taking loads of cash from you guys, I reckon tosspot ought to set up a meet at Southdown over a 120 birder, that will certainly sort the proverbial men from the boys.. :stupid::stupid:

I'm deffo up for the clays at Bisley, Dunganick's run off with my cheque, so hopefully he can squeeze me in..??

Fantastic day!

Cheers to all - It was nice to put some ugly faces to some names

Followed by a few hours on Pin's permission missing real ones :good:

So it wasn't you I watched for a few minutes this afternoon shooting over some laid wheat near St Albans......there were 2 guys sharing one hide and another bloke a couple of hundred yards away, everybody was having brisk sport, with plenty of birds coming in, but those 2 guys had their rotarys way too far away from the hide, net result was that every bird coming in was fired at from 50 yards plus, not good.. :stupid::stupid:

Perhaps they should join up to PW and get some tips on how to do it right..?? :good::lol:

Cat.
