Chaps, we really ought to do the next one down Tosspot's neck of the woods. It would be very rude not to.

TP, I sympathise with the traffic jam.

The core question is, did you run out of ciggies? Now that is a nightmare - traffic jam and no ciggies. The worst would be traffic jam, no ciggies and then radio breaks.

Only just got back online after yesterday.

Awesome mornings shooting, thanks all for a fab time. I missed lots of silly ones which annoyed me, but seeing as that was the first time I've shot in over a month, I can't complain too much. Very nice selection of targets and Braintree is closer to me than Lakenheath so I think I'll have to look into joining, especially as the wife can drop me off on the way to Freeport and pick me up on the way back ! Result ! :stupid:

The word for yesterday was "Claybuster", eh Pin ? ;-) LOL

And I'm now shooting everything with 1/2 and skeet in the 682 after seeing Gary do it and then getting those Teal (Yes, THOSE Teal Mungler :-)) with skeet and 7.5s :stupid:

Bloody marvelous (oh and Pin, can I have my Oakleys back pls  )..

Pin tried adding to his skeet vest collection, but they wanted their marquee back, never mind mate you'll have to make do with simons' glasses

TP

:thumbs: :good::lol::good::lol:

Sounds like you lads had a good day. Weather held nicely for you. Would have loved to have been there just to kick Munglers Backside.

Markio, what happened mate

Respect to TP again for making the journey up this way :stupid:

Pin, I told you before make sure you score the rounds and not to leave it to somebody else :stupid:

Had a busy day putting the electric fence and drinkers into the release pen yesterday and I know that FB111 was taking delivery of his bought poults as well as releasing his reared ones. MC not being there meant that any serious competition was lacking though.

TP I agree with Mungler we have to come to you next time, its only fair after all you have attended everyone of the event up this way. Sort a date and venue and I'll be there.

SS, I know i know. Let me begin, ehem... The problem was we started on the tricky stands so for the first 32 i never got my 'lazy' eye in, then it took another 2 stands to do so and by that point we were on stand stand 7 and my average took a tumble.

Well anyway that's my excuse and it's the best I've seen on here for a while. :stupid:

A good day indeed, put me down for the next one. Hopefully I will have my Blaser back by then. I have heard good things about Southdown and would happily take a trip down there next time.

Mungler and I rushed back and did our local shoot after Braintree on Saturday. Look out for Mungs "I got done for speeding AGAIN post"....(if he doesnt, he deserves it !!!)

Everyone else you have seen, apart from mentioning my near perfect "lean as close to the clay without falling over" technique as well as my stylish "10 sizes too small" borrowed skeet vest in fetching green ;)

Looks like a quiet get together of some very prominent members of the 'Essex underworld'

Yes I was thinking the same, wouldn't to carve any of that lot up on the road/spill their pints, with the possible exception of SS :blush:

coming to a manor near you .....soon

SS,

The pain in your shoulder won't be half as bad as that in LouisValentine's foot if he keeps holding his S/A like that, one day he'll forget it's loaded..!! :good:

Cat.

Cat,

You'll note the flag.

It was Mungs s/a, does my bum look big with it ?. I was praying to Essex Gun to get my Blaser back !!
