Blackpowder
Work of art there, and a rather good gun into the bargain. Nice to see some are still in this country and not in USA Blackpowder
panoma1
Looks a nice gun! I have a cased William Powell best boxlock from 1927 and it truly is a thing of beauty! No offence intended Powys Guns but the problem I see with all these advertisers is they don't include the most important information! Such as barrel wall thickness and current bore measurements compared to size at last proof!...some advertisers even omit chamber length and 'proper, accurate' choke measurements in their advert.......annoying! For something offered for sale at several hundreds and even thousands of pounds, I wouldn't even look at a prospective purchase without being provided with this information! Westley
The advert has the facility to 'Contact them', surely if you are at all serious about buying the gun, that facility could be used to glean more information. I personally would add trying the gun, before I made any decisions.
redial
Good point, well made. Westley. If I am looking for a used car and see the mileage doesn't get a mention. I assume rightly or wrongly its high and move on to the next ad. Back to the gun it looks a beauty.
