islandgun
Anyone have info about posting a shotgun moderator to buyer. does it have to go via RFD or can it be sent direct ? cheers IG
walshie
It can be sent direct as they aren't on ticket. Now wait for everyone to say I'm wrong even though I've done it.
islandgun
Thanks walshie, I bought the moderator from hushpower and they sent it to RFD but it wasn't put on ticket !
walshie
They aren't on ticket. Don't know why they did that then.

Dekers
If the moderator/any moderator is proofed, or already lists on someones ticket it is a Firearm and has to be on a slot so cannot be sent direct. If it is a NON proofed new moderator, and/or hasn't already been listed on someones ticket then it can be sent, if a RFD/manufacturer doesn't want to send it that's up to them regardless! walshie
Shotgun moderators aren't put on ticket and aren't proofed, so they are not considered firearms. Logical really as if they were, anyone with a S2 shotgun who wanted a moderator would have to get a FAC to use it. Edited to add: Oops. Sorry I just read the post above and the last paragraph confirms this. Edited March 27, 2018 by walshie
