MadSpringer
Ok I've got a new addition to the pack, well I pick her up in 2 weeks time. Cracking little Cocker bitch sired by F.T.CH Dardnell Dealer Dam by F.T.CH Chyknell Goldstar so hoping she's going to show great potential. So I'm at the point of picking a name for her and starting to tire of the better half blurting out unsuitable fluffy pup type names. So for a bit of fun I thought I'd ask the good folks of PW to name that pup. Cheers

lurcherboy
MS, call her Sooty as in Sooty and Sweep the hand puppets (not sure how old you are or whether or not you remember them) and you can use a black felt tip to colour her chest blaze in LB

Wookie
Ahem... My darling fiancee said that she looks like a "Pippa". She'd good with these things, so that might be worth considering. I still think Dennis is a batter name though...
MadSpringer
Fly NTTF Cheers Mate! Reminds me of a mate who named his Cocker Dog Flash! Never have I seen a dog grow so aptly in to its name All you would see is a Flash as it hunted from one county to the next! Cheers

Briarscratch
I love black Cockers. I had one when I was a kid that was named Brutus. If and when I have another it's likely he'll be named Brutus too. Or if not that, Thornward - Thorn for short.
MadSpringer
We decided on Fern (thanks V-Max) and here she is at 9 1/2 weeks. She's a cracking little bitch, already happy to sit on command and recalls at 110mph She's also taken on the roll of dead heading all the garden flowers, very helpful When we get into training I hope to get some pics and video sorted to post up on the site. Whilst I had the camera out I took a few shots of the dogs and in this shot I think the little Springer bitch is saying what she thinks about having her photo taken Cheers
