Danger-Mouse
How's this for a nice piece of land/ property? Yours for a cool $2.5 million. Might not look that special but if you read the full description . . . wow! https://www.landandfarm.com/property/Red_Rock_Ranch_Sierra_County-7964737/

Well, tbh if they're going to be there, I'd much rather they were noisy rather than silent.
Walker570
Yep...but I like to try and see them before they become annoyed. Had a client follow me up a rock strewn hiilside one morning and I suddenly heard that unmistaken noise. I turn and I am certain my friend stayed airborne for at least a minute The rattler was only a small 4 footer and about 3ft down in a crevice but I had woken him up. The old saying the first to pass wakes them, up the second annoys them and the third gets bit. They also have a turn of speed, we had difficulty keeping up with a big one across some open ground in our old Dodge truck. Superb creature. That is some pretty country. Never made it to New Mexico always wanted to go to Roswell.
