death from below
having been a biker for many years i have not been on two wheels for the last three years.......but pretty much like shooting once its in your blood its there forever.....I have been fighting the urge for a while now(maried with one little un and another on the way) but i just love jumping on a two wheeled horse.......I really really fancy a kwaka Z750 and decided to do a insurance quote (licence for 18 years but no no claims)......fully comp with Bennetts is only 208 quid.... was expecting it to be 500 plus.....kawasaki direct are kbocking out Z750's for les than 5000.......could be back on 2 wheels sooon I reckon........ But to my point.....bike insurance has been ridiculous for the past few years.....have I missed something since I've not been riding....200 quid fully comp for a new 750 is prety damn cool I reckon(0 no claims remember)....has the insurance world finally woken up or is it a case of come renewal time the year after it will jump to 1000 quid. Cranfield
Like most vehicle insurances, age is a major factor. My eldest daughter has three motorbikes (and a car), she mentioned that this year when she turned 30, she was able to get all her motorbike insurance premiums reduced significantly, but not the car. With the most respect, your daughter sounds like she rocks.....a lady with three motorbikes.....in another Life i reckon she would have been my ultimate chick (and a dad that shoots aswell - blimey)
Wookie
Hot chick + dad that shoots well = shotgun wedding... Saw in the paper today that premiums are rising at their highest rate since '94 due to uninsured drivers and the "no win, no fee" ambulance chasers. Face it, it's 'cos you're old now and not a threat.

Cranfield
I did post a picture or two on here some long time ago of her on a race circuit riding her Thundercat (?), she also has a "dropped down Harley Davidson" and an off road bike. Her "partner" has the same.

bbjunkie
I strongly advise you to try contacting Rampdale for a quote, they were less than half the price of Bennetts when I insured my bike last November. I had however just passed my test, and had no 2 wheel NCB however have 14 yrs NCB on 4 wheels.

Pike
I was`suprised too. I ride a 600 Triumph TT an live in a particularly grotty end of Eastlondon. Being under thirty thought I was going to get stung big time but it actually works out about half the price of insuring my subaru! Seems like they are waking up. Got my eye on the new 675 street triple though so who knows how much that will be?!?
chippy18
Have a look at this firm. I have just changed mine as they managed to get my premium for my MV down from £495.66 to £385 and the benefits are good. Bikes Cheers.
sheene7
I can recommend ebike, always found them to be cheap plus you can have about 4 bikes on the one policy. You can also change policy quickly and easily online.

Pedro
Blade I ring round every year for insurance and play them off against each other. Being 40+ I haven't had the premium go up in years. P.
bbjunkie
i even like the SV650 althiough I reckon I might grow out of that very quickly..... Yes, I've grown out of mine (almost) and have only done approx 500 miles since November! Nice bike, very soft front end though, the v-twin power delivery and engine note is awesome... however I prefer the note of the in-line 4's myself. Perhaps a Honda Hornet? Meant to say, I only paid £130 ish for a year (TPO)
Bradders
Just renewed my insurance on my Daytona 675, £245.00 fully comp, 5000 mile limit.....I'm 43 feels like a good deal, got it via Triumph Insurance.
